I bought my Polaris 500 new in 2005 in Omaha, NE and have never had any trouble with it. In 2007 I took it in and had a clutch kit, intake kit and pipe kit installed. It really woke it up.
It is still a heavy quad, but it really performs well. The only problem that I have ever had is the headlights in the front facia have stopped working. I haven't had time to check the bulbs yet, but will soon. It is an excellent machine and really have had no problems! I also own two other Polaris products and am very impressed with them!
Upgrades/Accessories: Hot Seat Performance Pipe, clutch kit, and intake
